The political ashtray is a project meant as a social commentary about the biggest corruption scandal Brazil has ever seen and the hypocritical and selective outrage it birthed in the Brazilian people. Over R$100 million were embezzled by politicians from the people of Brazil in 2005. That pissed people off. But what if we used the anger people felt toward corruption to help them stop throwing 845 thousand tons of cigarette butts in the streets like they do every year?
